We will be using the Math Makes Sense program for Grade 6 Math, There are 8 units that we will cover. Unit 1 Patterns and Equations Unit 2 Understanding Number Unit 3 Decimals Unit 4 Angles and Polygons Unit 5 Fractions and Decimals Unit 6 Geometry and Measurement Unit 7 Data Analysis and Probability Unit 8 Transformations Students will do daily work as well as projects.  Mental Math and problem solving will be part of this course.  Students are encouraged to keep up with their daily work and corrections. Please work on your basic facts (especially multipication and division) as we will not have a lot of class time to spend on them in Grade 6. Students should recall facts to 81.
